It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others.
Key Club is most known for its core values:
Leadership, Character Building, Caring, and Inclusiveness.
Leland Key Club is the oldest club at Leland and is part of the California-Nevada-Hawaii(CNH) district in Key Club International. As part of the CNH District, Leland Key Club belongs to Region 17 which is made up of 6 Divisions, of which Leland is part of one of them. Leland is part of Division 12 South, a division comprised of 11 schools.
Every division is lead by a lieutenant governor, or LTG for short. For the 2018-19 term, Leland Key Club had the honor of having one of our very own Key Clubbers, Chloe Dang, serve as LTG!
Each District and Division has different mascots in order to separate themselves from others. Here are the CNH and Division 12 South Mascots:
CNH: CNH Bees
Division 12 South: Supervillains
BONUS-Leland: Lots-o' the Bear

Charities We Are Supporting
The Eliminate ProjectKiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal tetanus. Neonatal tetanus kills one baby every 11 minutes—approximately 34,000 newborn children every year. A significant number of women also die due to maternal tetanus. The effects of the disease are excruciating—tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch.

Pediatric Trauma ProgramPediatric Trauma remains the leading cause of death and injury among children ages 14 and under in the United States. The mission of the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) is to develop local projects which will reduce the number of children in our three-state District who are killed or injured by trauma, ensuring all children live happy, healthy and safe lives. Unintentional injury is the #1 killer of children in the US and 90% can be prevented.
